Looking back through old pictures, great colour at Decorex 2015.

Spots and Stalks…

Rhubarb print in working progress. After much thought I’ve decided to add another element to this print, playing around with the idea of ‘Rhubarb and custard’. A jug with yellow custard pouring and splatted across the piece, maybe even adding a smeared handprint? Above right: jug stencil, ready to print.

Experimenting in Colour Book, bright blue with yellow and orange.

Finally printed the custard jug and I’m pleased with it’s suggestive line and 3D form.

I may add further layers of colour after printing the custard splats.

Raw rhubarb…

Thoroughly enjoying printing with my new rhubarb colours. Here’s a sneak peak of the first stalk….

Interesting texture created though applying little pressure whilst pulling the ink through the screen.

Purple Carrots…

Currently blow drying my second large scale print, all is going well!

Currently drawing out big melon stencils ready for next weeks print.

Combining possible colour palettes, heavily inspired by Jinhee Moon’s woollen collection.
